In Benue State Nigeria10 dead, 300 homeless as Fulani herdsmen attack communities
The affected communities are Tom-Anyiin, Tom-Ataan, Mbaya and Tombu in the Buruku Local Government Area of the state. 10 persons have reportedly been left dead in Benue State after an attack by Fulani herdsmen . The invasion is said to have occurred from Saturday, February 6 to Sunday, February 7, 2016, according to Vanguard. The affected communities are Tom-Anyiin , Tom-Ataan , Mbaya and Tombu in the Buruku Local Government Area of the state. “As I speak with you, fighting is still raging in the affected communities. Although I cannot give you a precise figure of the dead, about 10 have been killed, many are missing and many others sustained injures,” a resident from one of the towns told Vanguard.
