Sergio Romero Police threaten to seize car of Manchester United goalkeeper

Romero’s silver Ferrari has not been properly registered and he was stopped and cautioned by police last week.


Police in Manchester are threatening to seize the car of Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero.
Romero’s silver Ferrari has not been properly registered and he was stopped anc cautioned by police last week.
The goalkeeper was also driving without a tax while he was stopped.
He was told that his car will be taken should he not correct the misdemeanours.

Shortly after 5:20pm on Thursday 14 January 2016, police stopped a foreign registered Ferrari 314 on Victoria Street in Manchester City Centre,” a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson is quoted to say by Daily Mail.
The owner is a UK resident and the car is believed to have been in the country for a number of months without being taxed or registered in the UK.
The owner was reported to the DVLA and issued with a warning that if the car is not taxed and registered for use in the UK then it will be seized.”
