Qatar Air beat out top contenders like Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Etihad Airways.

The people have spoken, for the third time in 5 years, Qatar Airways has emerged the best airline in the world.
Qatar Air beat out top contenders like Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Etihad Airways.
The winners were announced by Skytrax at the Paris Air Showwith rankings determined by reviews from 18.9 million passengers from around the world.
Qatar Airways had previously taken top spot in 2011 and 2012. This year, the airline was also named best in the Middle East, and was given an award for having the best business-class seat.
