Kate Winslet will not be boycotting this year's Oscar like Jada Pinkett Smith, instead she'll be there to show support to her 'Titanic' co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Winsket revealed she will be attending the big movie event while attending a special screening for her latest film 'Triple 9' held at The Ham Yard Hotel on Tuesday (February 9) in London, England.
"To be honest with you it has been such an extraordinary year for women I’d feel like I was letting my side down if I didn’t go," Kate expressed. "And also I feel very strongly that it may possibly be Leo [Dicaprio]'s year, and he is my closest friend in the world and I just couldn’t imagine not being there to support him. And I think those are reasons enough really to show my face."
However, other actors like Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong'O, Will Smith and others have expressed very strong over the lack of diversity at the Oscars 2016.
