The Key to Life
"The key to life is accepting challenges. Once someone stops doing this, he's dead." - Bette Davis.
Without challenges, life isn’t really life. Everybody goes through challenges. The greater the challenges, the more we progress spiritually and the greater our responsibility becomes. At the same time, the greater the responsibility, the closer we get to the Light, and the closer we get to the Light, oftentimes the darker our darkness seems to be.
It’s always been this way. Just read the stories in the Bible; you’ll find that they are full of challenges. What we must understand is that what we see as difficulties are actually opportunities to elevate our certainty, our consciousness, and our connection to the Light of the Creator.
Therefore, in the words of Maya Angelou, "We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated."
