Golden Eaglets win 2015 U-17 World Cup

The Golden Eaglets who won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cuphave been rewarded by the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
The Golden Eaglets beat Mali 2-0 in the final of the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup held in Chile last year to win their record fifth World Cup.

The players alongside other Nigerian sportsmen and women were hosted at a reception held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The players were rewarded with the sum of N1.2m each while head coach, Emmanuel Amuneke got N900,000.

His assistants got N600,000 each, Team Secretary got N300,000, Medical Team got N300,000 while other officials received N200,000.
