The government of President Paul Biya of Cameroon, has given his approval for the use of witches and wizards by his local chiefs to fight the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents that have been on rampage in that country, killing many and displacing thousands.

This approval came after some chiefs sent a representation to the president to allow them apply their spiritual powers in tackling the terrorists that have been holding sway in Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad and Niger.

The Cameroonian journalist, Bisong Etahoben, who had earlier tweeted the request from the chiefs, also tweeted that the government has given its approval as it is looking for whatever assistance they can get in fighting the insurgents.

This is not the first time such an attempt at battling the terrorists have been made by those who claim to have super natural powers.
In 2014, the  Witches and Wizards Association of Nigeria (WITZAN), had vowed that they would destroy the sect but they have not been able to keep their promise.
