Boko Haram: Somalia’s President reveals that sect members are trained in his country
It is is not clear whether the Boko Haram members are being trained by Al shabaab, a terror group that has been unleashing terror in Somalia.
The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud revealed to attendees of a security conference in Germany on Sunday, February 14, 2016, that Boko Haram members are trained in his country.
Though it is not clear whether the sect members are trained by Al Shabaab, a terror group that has been unleashing terror in Somalia.
Mohamud said “Without
a stable Somalia, the whole region of the Horn of Africa will remain
unstable and by and large, the African continent. There are proofs and
evidence that (for) some time Boko Haram has been trained in Somalia and
they went back to Nigeria
“The terrorists are so linked together, they are associated and so organised, (that) we the world we need to be so organised.”
Recently, the Nigerian Air Force reported that the location of the abducted Chibok girls may have been identified.
Speaking to Channels TV, the Director of Public Relations at the Nigerian Air Force, Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa, said
the Air Force has been deliberately avoiding that location in the
ongoing aerial bombardment of Sambisa forest, so keep the girls safe.
The Islamist terror group-Boko Haram, announced its allegiance to ISIS on March 2015.
